Just right
Love the makeover. The new furniture is beautiful, beds are the best. I like that there is a fold-out couch too, as sometimes I have trouble sleeping and can go from the bed to couch & back as I choose. Store in lobby had everything we ever needed. The buffets were excellent--could easily be dinner, not just appetizers. Really nice dining room. Staff has always been so friendly and helpful. Easy to feel at home here.

Great people, Great location
Arrrived in Chico in the late afternoon after driving from L.A. Check-in was fast,efficient, and very friendly. We traveled with 2 medium size dogs and received a 'pet room'. Usually, I'm pretty leary of these rooms because they put smokers in the same rooms and most of the times they're not that nice. This room was great! No smoke smell, and wouldn't even know other animals had been in there. There is a nice little gift shop next to the desk with snak food and essentials. The room was quiet also. Great location comes into play because the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co is less than a mile walk away (it could turn into more than a mile on the way back though...). Also, my tailight burnt out and the wife got sick. Fortunately there is a Wal-Mart right across the street and I was able to get a bulb and cough medicine. There are other businesses around but becasue of the neighborhood layout, you feel like your in a residental area. Overall, great experience, super staff, and comfortable room.

This is the place.....
Very best option in Chico. Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean everywhere you look. Modern and comfortable accommodations. We stayed in an Executive Suite. Breakfast is included in the hotel breakfast room as is evening wine, beer and nibbles at the evening cocktail hour. A bit further south of old downtown Chico and the University...but it is a quick hop on the 99 freeway. This place will not disappoint. I am a travel agent and believe me, we are a picky lot!

Ace Hotel - great service
We stayed here as a stop off for the Sierra Nevada Brewery on our honeymoon. I wasn't expecting too much but hoped it would be nice. On arrival, we found that we'd been upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite, which was really lovely of them. The room was really spacious and had a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom-haha! We also had a living room area with TV and fridge that could be separated from the bedroom by closing sliding doors. The breakfast was adequate and comparable with other places. The evening buffet was on the rubbishy side, but it is just intended as a complimentary snack. The free glasses of wine/beer went down a treat too and were actually really nice! The pool area was small but really quiet and lovely for relaxing in the sun. If you're in the area, I'd definitely suggest a trip to the Sierra Nevada Brewery-it was great.
In all, I've given this place 5 stars because of the reasonable price, combined with all the positives!

Fantastic Accommodations and Staff
Our racing team have been coming to Chico, CA to race at the Silver Dollar Speedway for the past three years. We visit there 3 -4 times a year and have stayed at the Oxford Suites. On our first stay, I was put in touch with one of the Sales Managers, Sandra Sims. Sandra has taken such good care of us on all of our visits. She came to visit with us on several occasions in the dinning area to see if all was okay. If Sandra was not available at any time, other Sales Associates in her office would reply to my e-mail request. She is fantastic and such a great representation for the Oxford Suites. The accommodations are fantastic and the complimentary breakfast is great. All of the staff there from check-in to housekeeping are fantastic.

A great Stay in Chico!
The staff was very friendly and available! Our room was the quietest hotel room we have ever had! I recommended oxford suites to my sister & brother-in-law and they also had a very good stay.

Will return again
I’ve stayed at Oxford Suites, Chico, many times in the past. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. A complimentary hot breakfast is served in morning and free refreshments in the evening. It was very quite even with an almost full house.

Comfortable home away from home
This was very comfortable room. The bed was perfect. The pool was large enough for actual swimming and the patio chaises were a comfortable place to sun. We have family in the area and have tried several hotels - we're coming back to this one. Centrally located, very close to many dining options: it was an excellent home base for the week.
